The Amherst News-Times Newspaper is a weekly publication that focuses exclusively on news from the City of Amherst, Ohio. The Amherst News-Times is published every Wednesday, and is available via subscription and home delivery, or for purchase in Amherst convenience stores, gas stations and supermarkets.
The News-Times covers a wide variety of Amherst news, from local politics and government, to schools, obituaries, editorials and letters to the editor, Steele high school sports, crime, community announcements and much more.
Amherst is also served by three other newspapers: the Lorain Morning Journal, the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram, and the Cleveland Plain Dealer. All three of these papers do occassionally feature Amherst news and announcements, but the News-Times is the only newspaper that publishes news that focuses exclusively on Amherst.
